From Potential to Possibility: Grant’s Journey to Vanderbilt

When Grant came to us the summer after 10th grade, he had a strong interest in computer science, solid writing skills, and a knack for debate. But with a limited CS background and weak extracurriculars, his college prospects needed a boost.

Through strategic academic coaching, we helped Grant improve his GPA, strengthen his extracurricular profile, and craft a compelling college application. Our SAT prep support led to a 310-point score increase (from 1200 to 1510!), and together, we identified reach schools that truly aligned with his goals.

The result? Grant earned a spot in Vanderbilt’s Class of 2028—his dream school. Now, he’s diving into computer science coursework and making his mark in the debate community. From the start, Grant had the talent. We just helped him showcase it.
